Great MTTs, including online WSOP bracelet events.
WSOP POKER SUMMARY
From humble beginnings as a free-play site, WSOP.com online poker is now home to some of the biggest online cash games and MTTs in the US. The biggest brand in tournament poker has become a growing force in the digital arena over the last decade. And, with sites in New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware (via 888Poker), its reputation is growing.
In fact, at the time of writing, rumors were circulating that WSOP.com PA (Pennsylvania) was about to launch. That will add another string to this operator’s bow and cement its position as one of the top poker brands in the US. Naturally, part of the reason for its reputation is online bracelet events. Giving players the opportunity to win some bling via their desktop or mobile isn’t something other poker sites can do.
This WSOP.com review will take you through all of its highlights and lowlights. From the welcome bonus and loyalty scheme to its cross-state cash games - This guide will tell you all you need to know. Otherwise, skip to the WSOP.com NJ download link (or the one for Nevada) via PLAY HERE on this page.
PROMOTIONS & BONUS INFORMATION
With the right WSOP.com NJ promo code or bonus offer in Nevada, you can get a lot more bang for your buck. From the $1,000 welcome bonus to reload rewards, cash races, and a loyalty scheme, there are plenty of ways to enjoy a WSOP.com free poker experience!
WSOP.com BonusCode and Payout
Create an account at WSOP.com NJ or one of its US counterparts and you can get up to $1,000 in bonus cash. That’s a lot of green, but the amount you receive will be based on your deposit. Basically, this is a first-deposit bonus backed by a 100% multiplier. In simple terms, that means you can follow the steps below and they will match your first deposit:
Click PLAY HERE to create your WSOP.com login.
Install WSOP Poker app on your desktop or mobile.
Make a qualifying deposit of at least $10. Note: You don’t need a WSOP.com promo code to unlock this offer.
Your opening deposit will be matched up to a maximum of $1,000
Once you’ve claimed your =welcome bonus, it’s time to start playing. The cash is locked away and released in $5 increments each time you earn 50 APPS. You need to rake $1 in cash games and/or tournaments to earn two APPS. Therefore, the first deposit bonus has an effective rakeback rate of 20% (example, you get $5 for every $25 you pay in rake). That’s not the best rate but it’s solid. What’s nice is that you get 90 days to release your credits, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get maximum value.
The WSOP.com promotions page is packed with offers. Admittedly, some of the deals are actually adverts for the site’s guaranteed MTTs. However, even when you discount these, there are still plenty of ways to get something extra. For example, following on from the WSOP.com deposit bonus, existing customers can get monthly reload bonuses. At the time of writing, players could get a 100% reload bonus worth up to $500 when they used the appropriate promo code.
In addition to deposit bonuses, leaderboards are a staple feature of the promotions page. From cash races and MTT leaderboards to SNG challenges, there’s always a way to indulge your competitive side. Of course, we all know that poker is a competitive endeavor. However, the leaderboards add an extra dimension to your experience. And, of course, there’s the small matter of prizepools. With multiple chances to win a share of $100,000+, it can certainly pay to be competitive.
The WSOP.com rakeback scheme is pretty slick. Basically, you have to earn APPS. These points can be exchanged for cash payments at your leisure. The only stipulation here is that there’s a minimum transaction of 1,000 points.
The conversion rate is 100 APPS for $1 in cash. Given that you earn 2 points for every $1 you pay in rake, that equates to a cashback rate of 2%. However, that’s not the end of the story. The loyalty scheme is linked to Caesars Rewards which is regarded as one of the world’s best casino comps programs.
This means you can earn APPS regardless of whether you’re using WSOP.com Las Vegas, New Jersey, or a site somewhere else in the US. Moreover, you can earn points for playing live games inside casinos owned by Caesars. Having more ways to earn points is great because you can increase your balance at a faster rate.
However, more significantly, loyalty scheme has five levels: Player, Bronze, Silver, Elite, and Champions Club. You move to a new level each time you earn a certain number of APPS. Then, as your ranking improves, so does the rate at which you earn points. For example, at the top level, you’ll receive a 16X boost. This means you earn 16X more APPS per $1 you rake. That, in turn, means you get a better rakeback rate. So, if you’re an active player, you can actually get a lot of value from the VIP program.
WSOP POKER GAME VARIETY
The WSOP poker game menu has one feature that trumps all others. However, before we get into that, let’s talk about the basics. There are plenty of Hold’em and Omahacash games that start at $0.01/$0.02 and go up as high as $100/$200. That’s impressive. In fact, you’ll struggle to find a US online poker site with higher stakes cash games than WSOP.com NJ et al.
What’s also impressive about this site is that it offers Stud Hi and Stud Hi/Lo. Again, these aren’t readily available on other US poker apps. So, in this regard, this platform is a standout performer. Are we saying that you’ll find a ton of action in these games? No. If we’re honest, you will have to wait for a game to start and, at the highest stakes, there isn’t much action at all. However, the fact that Stud is even available is a positive.
Also, this impressive selection of cash games isn’t ruined by excessive fees. The WSOP.com rake policy aligns with all the best US poker rooms. The system will take $0.01 for every $0.18 in the pot, which is the same as Partypoker USA. The rake cap per pot depends on the table limits and number of players. However, at the lowest stakes, you’ll never pay more than $0.30 per pot, while high stakes rake is capped at $3-$4.
WSOP Poker Tournaments, Satellites and SNGs
For a company that made its name hosting major poker tournaments, the cash game lobby is surprisingly good. However, if you’re looking for reasons to hit the WSOP Poker download button, it has to be tournaments. From SNGs and Blast tournaments to weekly majors and online bracelet events, this operator has the best roster in the US.
The WSOP.com tournament schedule is great. Even though bracelet events and qualifiers are the main focus, you can actually play poker for some serious prizes on a weekly basis. SNGs start at $0.25 and go up to $200. As well as full-ring and six-max, you’ll be able to play heads-up matches across a variety of formats.
In terms of MTTs, there are low, medium, and high stakes options every day. The picks of the week are the Sunday specials. These events have a combined guarantee of $250,000 and come with a variety of buy-ins. The star of the show is the $100,000 Sunday. That costs $320 to enter or you can qualify via a satellite. However, for less than that, you can play the $8,000 Weekly, the $10,000 Weekly, or the $30,000 Weekly.
The WSOP.com schedule has been given a boost, or should we say blast, by 888Poker. Because 888 supplies the software for WSOP.com New Jersey and its sister sites, you can enjoy the company’s lottery-style SNG innovation, Blast. You can enter these four-handed tournaments from as little as $0.10 and win random prizes. At the top end, you can buy in for $30 and win a whopping $300,000.
Main Event Satellites
Satellites are often an afterthought because they mainly offer a cheap way into regular online MTTs. However, at WSOP.com Nevada and its counterparts, it’s a whole different story. Why? Simple: this site offers official WSOP qualifiers. Other than its partner, 888Poker, no one else offers direct entry to live WSOP events.
That’s an impressive USP and, more importantly, great news for you. For less than $1, you could win your way to the $10,000 Main Event in Las Vegas. If that’s not a reason to sign up, we don’t know what is.
WSOP.com Online Bracelet Events
The jewels in this site’s proverbial crown are online bracelet events. Thanks to the march of modern technology and a global pandemic in 2020, the WSOP innovated in recent years. That means it’s stepped up its efforts to make bracelets available online.
The first ever online title was won by Anthony Spinella back in 2017. The annual roster of events has evolved since then, but things really went up a notch in 2020. Today, WSOP.com hosts dozens of annual bracelet events. In fact, you can also take part in WSOP.com Online Circuit events. This is something you can’t do anywhere else online and, in our opinion, it’s why you should join if you live in a state where WSOP.com real money games are available.
SOFTWARE & GRAPHICS
When you install WSOP Poker on your desktop or mobile device, you may find some features look basic. We were left with the sense that the software isn’t as flashy or sophisticated as what you’ll find at PokerStars US. However, the official WSOP Poker site provides a ton of useful information. As well as poker strategy tips and details about what you’ll find inside the app, the website gives you tournament updates and WSOP.com results.
Then it’s time to play. The WSOP.com Nevada download link (or whatever link is relevant for your state) will start the installation process. The application is fairly large but not so much that it puts too much pressure on your device. In terms of the interface, we really liked the one-touch search buttons. Each game has its own button. That means you can move from cash games to MTTs etc. with a single click/tap. Then, at the bottom of the lobby, you can use checkboxes to filter the results.
If you’re a beginner, you can play games located in a special section of the app. Basically, when you tap on the “Beginners” tab, you’ll be able to ante up in some low stakes games that are reserved for newbies. Finally, the app’s best feature is “Quick Seat.” This allows you to input some variables, click “Play Now,” and go straight to an available table. This is great because it means you can dive into the action without wasting time.
You can play more than one WSOP poker table at once but, if we’re honest, it’s not as slick as other sites. You can tile and cascade tables, but the resizing options are limited. This means you’re probably best off playing around four tables at once if you’re using a single monitor.
The mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices. Like its desktop counterpart, the app isn’t the slickest or best-looking thing in the world. However, one feature that does carry over extremely well is the quick seat function. With a few taps, you can jump straight into a game that suits you.
The WSOP.com app also gives you access to a full range of games. That’s perfect for those who want to play Online Circuit and bracelet events on the go. Of course, you’ll have to be in a state where WSOP.com is active to do this. However, the app makes it possible for you to win some of poker’s biggest honors from any location.
No HUDs Policy
HUDs and real-time tracking software are prohibited on WSOP Poker New Jersey and its counterparts. This means you can’t use Hold’em Manager et al. There have been cases where players have used these programs and been caught. So, if you want to track WSOP.com player stats, you’ll have to find a way of doing it manually.
TRAFFIC AND SOFT COMPETITION
WSOP.com Poker is one of the biggest networks in the US for three reasons. Firstly, it’s the World Series of Poker’s digital platform. That gives it a certain amount of kudos and allure. Secondly, the company has partnered with 888Poker. This means you get the power of two networks. For example, WSOP.com Delaware is actually 888Poker Delaware and vice versa. The site itself has 888 branding. However, because WSOP.com and 888Poker use the same network, you’re basically using both when you use one.
Thirdly, WSOP.com states are linked. Thanks to liquidity sharing pacts between New Jersey, Delaware, and Nevada, players in all three states can compete against each other. This isn’t something other US poker operators can offer. That means WSOP Poker NJ is linked to its counterparts in Nevada and Delaware. In turn, this creates much larger player pools.
The support page is fantastic. The FAQ is broken down into sections and you can use the quick links to find answers to hundreds of common questions. In fact, what’s neat about the FAQ is that it has a “popular” section that makes it even easier to get answers.
If you need a more direct form of support, the customer service team is available via email and live chat. The former is an onsite affair, which means you have to fill out a contact form. The latter is available via the app. Agents are on hand between 3pm and 11pm EST. There is no support phone number.
DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS
Your money is safe with WSOP Poker Online. This company is licensed and regulated in various US states. As part of the licensing process, this poker site has to prove that it encrypts transactions, processes them securely, and keeps your money in protected accounts. That means you don’t have to worry about the safety of your bankroll.
The minimum poker deposit is $10 - same as the same minimum withdrawal amount. And the WSOP.com withdrawal policy states that requests will be processed within 24 hours. This means the following payment options allow you to receive your winnings within one to six working days (Monday-Friday).
ACH (Bank Transfer)
Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover)
Cash at the Cage
PayNearMe (7Eleven Stores)
Caesars Online Play+ Card
OUR OVERALL WSOPRATING
WSOP.com Poker isn’t the best looking site in the world but, as we all know, looks can be deceiving. The reality is that this company is a powerhouse on the US poker scene. Not only does it have liquidity sharing pacts across multiple states and a $1,000 welcome bonus, it has some of the best MTTs in the world. From WSOP.com Circuit tournaments to Online Bracelet events, you can play for major titles from the comfort of your own home. Few operators can match this and, for that reason alone, you should try a WSOP.com download.
