Tiger Gaming Poker, holding an international license courtesy of Curacao eGaming, has built up a unique platform since going live in 1999. You’ll find it available in various countries around the world but, unfortunately, not those in the US. Fortunately, there are plenty of fantastic US online poker rooms you can try if you live in states such as New Jersey and Pennsylvania. However, if you live in Europe, parts of Asia, Canada, the UK, and many other countries, you can click and follow PLAY HERE - our Tiger Gaming Poker download link

It’s also worth noting that you can make Bitcoin payments here, as this is not something you find often at poker sites. And as we know, this can be beneficial since these cryptos payments are virtually untraceable and borderless. Even though it’s not ranked among the industry’s leading poker sites, Tiger Gaming still has some fantastic poker features that novices and casuals will love. We’ll talk more about all of this in our full review below.

Promotions and Bonus Information

The Tiger Gaming Poker bonus code page is filled with generous offers. Naturally, there’s something for newbies, but that’s not where the stream of value ends. Bad Beat Jackpots and cash races come as standard, as well as a whole lot more. To see what we mean, here’s a round up of the best Tiger Gaming Poker promotions.

Tiger Gaming Poker Bonus Code and Payout

  • 100% up to $1,000 + 8 days of tournament tickets

New players can enjoy a fantastic 100% poker welcome bonus of up to $1000, including 8 days of tickets to early stage Sit & GO qualifiers of the $100K GTD Sunday Showdown tournament. Tournament tickets can be claimed after completing the registration and meeting the daily rake requirement. By using the exclusive Tiger Gaming Poker Promo Code "POKER1000" during sign-up, you can double the standard bonus and kickstart your poker journey with a substantial bankroll boost and daily tournament tickets. Min.deposit $50.

The barriers to entry are a little higher than normal, because the minimum deposit is $50. Most real money poker sites set their minimum deposit for promos at $10. There is a danger that $50 will exclude some casual and low-stakes players. However, that appears to be a price you need to pay to qualify for up to $1,000 in bonus cash.

Basically, by raising the minimum deposit above the industry norm, the promo team is able to raise the top-end value of its welcome bonus. It’s a potentially risky strategy but it’s definitely paid off in some respects. $1,000 is a decent sum of money and the wagering requirements aren’t overly restrictive.

So, you’ll have 30 days before the bonus expires. However, what’s really impressive about this bonus is that your credits are released in $5 increments. Each time you rake $50, you’ll get $5. This equates to a Tiger Gaming Poker rakeback rate of 10%. And, more importantly, it doesn’t commit you to clearing the full bonus.

If you want to play until you release 50% of your bonus and stop, that’s fine. The incremental releases mean you don’t necessarily have to worry about the 30-day time limit. That means you’ll be under less pressure which, in turn, means you can relax and enjoy your time online.

Other Bonuses

  • Casino Welcome Bonus - 3x 100% up to $1000min.deposit $25, Bonus Code: TGCASINO
  • Sport Betting Welcome Bonus - 100% up to $250, Bonus Code: TIGER100

Tiger Gaming Poker Promotions

There’s always a way to get more for less at this poker site. In fact, there are promotions for those that don’t want to play poker thanks to the site’s casino bonuses. However, for the purposes of this review, let’s look at some of the deals you’ll find when you join:

Missions

Missions often have a theme and run for a certain period of time, like a month, for example. The objective will vary from mission to mission, but you’ll often be asked to do things like “play XX number of hands in a cash game,” “get dealt XX hand,” or “win a pot without a showdown.” These are just examples but they’re the kinds of things you’ll have to do  in order to win freeroll (free poker tourneys) and other tournament tickets, bonus cash, and special prizes.

Leaderboards

This poker room is big on leaderboards. In fact, it offers more cash game races and tournament competitions than almost all of the leading international online poker sites. We can say this with confidence because, alongside monthly and event-based leaderboards, there are daily cash game challenges.

For example, in June 2021, there was $2,000 in bonuses up for grabs every 12 hours. All players had to do was play their normal games. If they scored enough points during a 12-hour period, they’d win cash prizes based on the stakes they were playing.

Bad Beat Jackpot

The final promo of note is the Bad Beat Jackpot. In fact, this operator doesn’t have just one bad beat jackpot, it has two. Both require you to play specially marked bad beat cash tables. Do that and lose at a showdown with four deuces or better and you’ll scoop the lion’s share of the jackpot.

Standard bad beat tables pay the losing player 20% of the jackpot and distribute the rest among everyone else at the table. Boost bad beat tables pay the losing player 40% of the progressive jackpot. This means you’ve always got a shot at winning cash prizes worth in excess of $100,000.

Loyalty Program

The loyalty scheme appears to have been removed from the site. Although there are reports of being able to convert points to cash, there wasn’t any information about it when we wrote this Tiger Gaming Poker review. As such, we’ve concluded that it’s no longer available.

Tiger Gaming Poker Game Variety

This place is all about Hold’em and Omaha. That will come as a blow to those of you that enjoy Stud, Draw, and Mixed Games. However, for a non-mainstream site, it’s fairly standard to see the developers focus on two main variants. We were surprised to see 6+ Hold’em listed. Unfortunately, there was no action during our tests. But, having said that, there were six-max games available at $5NL, $25NL, and $200NL.

Hold’em tables dominate, and you’ll be able to play as low as $10NL or as high as $1,000NL. It’s a similar story with Omaha. As well as offering games at a wide variety of stakes, you can play Limit, Pot Limit, No Limit, and Hi/Lo. And, most impressively, Tiger Gaming has capped games, ante games, bad beat tables, and cash games where you can run it twice.

Tiger Gaming Poker Software - tournament schedule

Tiger Gaming Poker Tournaments and Satellites

The Tiger Gaming Poker tournament schedule is perfect for beginners, intermediates, and aspiring pros. High stakes players will probably struggle to find anything of value. However, if you're used to playing freerolls and MTTs with buy-ins up to $215, you’ll be well covered.

The daily schedule consists of guaranteed events with prizepools ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. There’s also a nice selection of bounty and knockout MTTs, as well as rebuys, turbos and Omaha events.

Sundays are all about the majors. In addition to the “Warm Up,” there are three majors costing $2.20, $22, and $109. Each one is a deep-stacked rebuy and the guarantees are $1,000, $12,500, and $60,000, respectively. They’re not the biggest Sunday majors we’ve ever seen, but the competition is pretty soft and there are often overlays.

The final string to their tournament bow is specials. There’s a neat feature that allows you to request an MTT. Basically, if you can spot a gap in the schedule, you can contact the support team and suggest a way to fill it.

That’s something we’ve not seen before and we really like it. Indeed, when you combine this with lottery-style, short-handed SNGs featuring jackpots worth up to $1 million, there’s definitely a ton of value for tournament players.

Tiger Gaming Software and Graphics

Tiger Gaming is a no download poker site. That means you can use the instant-play option to access cash games and tournaments via your browser. Alternatively, if you want something a little more stable and accessible, there are download options. You can install the Tiger Gaming Poker app for Windows and Mac computers by clicking PLAY HERE on this page and creating an account and qualifying for a bonus. From there, you can use the onsite links to download the Tiger Gaming Poker software onto your computer.

One thing to note is that there aren’t any iOS or Android apps. Instead, you can use an optimized mobile website. If we’re honest, this isn’t as impressive as having an app. If you look at the best online poker sites in Canada, the US, UK, and other parts of the world, mobile apps come as standard. However, the developers have at least made sure you can play via smartphones and tablets. In fact, they’ve even added QR codes to the main website so you get exactly where you need to go with ease.

Now, we’re not going to say that Tiger Gaming is as slick or aesthetically pleasing as PokerStars, partypoker, or any of the other major brands. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not good. In fact, we actually found some neat features that make the site easy to use if you're a newbie. For example, when you log in for the first time, a virtual assistant appears in the form of a pop-up. This pop-up basically guides you around the site and shows you how to get started.

Another neat feature is the tournament calendar. With a single click, you can get a complete overview of all the majors and when they take place. Finally, in terms of the lobby and how you find your ideal game, everything is simple yet effective. Hold’em and Omaha cash games have their own lobbies that are opened using one-touch tabs. You can also hide/unhide full and/or empty tables.

It’s also possible to filter tables by stakes, game speed, number of players, betting dynamics, and special features such as “bad beat jackpot” and “run it twice.” So, while the software may be a little rough around the edges, it’s actually got some powerful filters that make it easy to get into the action.

Tiger Gaming poker table

Multi-tabling

This operator’s tables aren’t the most innovative. They actually look like a cross between the tables PokerStars and Partypoker had around 10 years ago. However, despite being fairly basic, it’s easy to see what’s happening which, in reality, is all that matters.

Moreover, multi-tabling is actually very good. You’ll be able to play more than six tables at once with relative ease thanks to three tiling options. The first simply tiles the tables at their current size. The second option is cascading them. The third, which we really like, resizes and then tiles the tables. This ensures everything remains in view at all times.

Mobile App

As we’ve said, there isn’t a native iOS or Android poker app to download. You can, however, use the mobile site via all smartphone devices. That means you get access to all the features we’ve just mentioned whenever you want.

No HUDs Policy

Tiger doesn’t completely ban HUDs, but the current policies are pretty restrictive. When you read through the terms and conditions, you’ll see that you can use HUDs or trackers that have limits on them. These limits basically refer to your opponent’s hands.

You can only use a HUD to track your own hands. Moreover, the Tiger Gaming Poker HUD policy states that stats “can't be based on the current hand.” Therefore, you can only use third-party tracking software like Poker Tracker to store information about your own hands and analyse them away from the table, not in real time.

Traffic and Soft Competition

This poker site is something of an enigma for a variety of reasons. For example, we know it says US bets aren’t accepted. However, there is an option to put your location as America during the registration process. We also know that Curacao eGaming licenses don’t necessarily exclude US players. Finally, we know what Bitcoin payments are borderless and, thus, not subject to the same restrictions and fiat currencies.

We’re not saying you should attempt to join if you’re in the US. We’re simply saying that there are things which suggest it may not be impossible. This is why we think this poker site is something of an enigma. Indeed, we couldn’t find any official traffic data. Despite that, there was a decent amount of action during our tests. Most of it was focused on low stakes Hold’em games. However, there were some $5/$10 tables running and, more significantly, some Omaha games at $1/$2 and $2/$5.

That was surprising because, outside of PokerStars and other major poker sites, you don’t usually see these types of games running. It’s probably the case that players in these poker games have crossed over from the Tiger casino and sportsbook and want to gamble. That’s great news for you. A lot of fishy players looking to splash around is perfect, particularly if you’ve mastered how to play tight

Tiger Gaming Poker Support

The FAQ is adequate. We can’t say any more or less about it. It provides the answers you need, but it’s not the most extensive we’ve seen. Fortunately, that doesn’t matter too much because there are support agents available 24/7. Although you can’t contact them by phone, you can speak to a member of the customer service team at any time via live chat or email (support @ tigergaming.com).

Deposits and Withdrawals

Deposits and withdrawals are where Tiger Gaming Poker Canada and its international counterparts stand out from the crowd. As stated by the company itself, 87% of customers choose Bitcoin as their payment option. The top international and US poker rooms don’t offer Bitcoin deposits. So, in this regard, Tiger is better than its peers.

However, it doesn’t stop there. As well as Bitcoin, you can make fiat deposits in a USD via processors such as Visa, MasterCard, and Skrill. Finally, if that’s not enough, you can also pay to play in Ethereum, Ripple Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Stellar, and USDCoin. That’s an impressive selection of payment options.

Bitcoin are decentralized, so they don’t belong to a specific country and, therefore, can be used to make payments from anywhere in the world. All of this adds up to a slick, safe, and secure payment system where you can make deposits and withdrawals from as little as $20.

Our Overall Tiger Gaming Poker Rating

Tiger Gaming might not be a mainstream name like GGPoker. However, thanks to certain features, this site is a hidden gem. The software has some neat touches and there’s a decent amount of action. Then, of course, there are the crypto payment options. These alone put Tiger Gaming Poker in a very small club. Therefore, if you want an online poker site with a difference, we’d suggest getting wild with this operator.
