Now THAT'S a Bad Beat
The other day someone pointed something out to me that I
missed this past summer at the World Series of Poker in
2008. During one of the early days of the Main Event, Justin
Phillips and a player by the last name of Mabuchi were
involved in a big pot. Mabuchi bet out on the river with a
board showing Ah-9c-Qd-10d-Ad. Phillips raised and then
Mabuchi moved all-on a âgambleâ.

My WSOP Plans
The World Series of Poker kicks off in less than two week. I
have made my final plans to head out to Vegas for about a
month. Iâm actually going to drive cross country to
Vegas instead of fly like most people do. I enjoy the
adventure of it all and enjoy seeing different parts of the
country.

New WSOP Rule Should Help Reduce Dealer Abuse
A big change in the rules at the World Series of Poker this
year involved instituting a Player Code of Conduct. Now, a
player can be penalized not only for abuse to other players,
but also to dealers and floor staff. I think this is a fantastic policy that has been instituted. One thing that really irritates me is how that some players
will treat dealers like dirt.

Annie Duke Loses Celebrity Apprentice - Or Did She?
So, Annie Duke lost against Joan Rivers in Celebrity
Apprentice. Does this really surprise anyone at all? It is a
known fact that Rivers is a friend of Donald Trump, and
regardless of what we are all told about the business world,
the world of business can be one big popularity contest. However, letâs take a look at this a little deeper. How
did each person come off to the American public as a result
of this season of Celebrity Apprentice? Many people say that
Duke came off looking like a bitch at times.

What to Expect at the WSOP
What can I expect if I go to the WSOP? I have been asked
that by a lot of poker players over the last couple of
years. Here are a few things to expect at the World Series
of Poker. First, the WSOP is a zoo of people. You really donât
realize how many people that there are until you go into the
Amazon Room for the first time.

Jamie Gold Loses Another Endorsement - So What Else is New?
News has just been released out that Jamie Gold has lost his
