WSOP Day 22 - Seniors Event Shatters Record and The Apocalypse Approaches
Day 22 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is underway and
both the Pavilion and the Amazon Room are hopping today. The
Seniors Event kicked off at noon and has pretty much
overpowered both rooms. In addition, we had Day 2 of both
the $5,000 NL Six-Handed and ½ PL Holdem ½ PL Omaha
Event grinding away. The final two tables are working
towards a bracelet and the $1,500 H.

WSOP Day 21 Second Update - Pumpkins, Grinders, and the Lakers
The WSOP rolls on and our two final tables are clicking
along. The PLO Final is down to five players with Miguel
Proulx the current chip leader. The $10,000 Limit Holdem
Championship started with Michael Mizrachi, David Chiu, and
Brock Parker, but all of them have dropped by the wayside
leaving Matt Keikoan the leader with 4 players left. The
$1,500 NL is playing to the final table, or such is the
play.

WSOP Commentary - Why the Pros Are Winning Again
I started playing at the World Series of Poker in 2006. Back
then, we were still pre-UIGEA and amateurs were practically
dominating all of the fields. A few select pros would win
events, but for the most part, the chirping from the pros
was that âthe fields are too massive and buy-ins
needed to be raised. However, times were a changing.

Day 3 of the $10,000 Omaha 8 or Better World Championship
resumed with the Omaha 8 or Better World Championship
playing out to the bracelet. However, this day for me was
all about the 5 P. M.

WSOP Deflated and Outdated? Not So Much
Charlie River made a post earlier today entitled WSOP
Deflated and Outdated. In it, he made a comments regarding how that he thought that
the WSOP should be conducted and I wanted to take a few
minutes to comment both as someone who has worked it the
last three years, and someone that has played in 4 out of
the last 5 WSOPâs. *Everyman Poker is Becoming Pro Paradise*
First, Charlie contends that the WSOP has become
everyman's supermarket of poker. While there is some
merit in that statement, that argument would hold more
weight three years ago more so than it does now.

Shaun Deeb WSOP Ladies Event Statement
This vid is a must see! I won't ruin anything by giving away
too much detail but I will fill you in on some background. Shaun Deeb entered and played the 2010 WSOP Ladies Event
dressed in drag. Shaun entered the event to prove a point
that segregated events should not be a part of the WSOP. He
did say he was dressed as a woman because he lost a prop bet
and bought out after the first break, coming back sporting a
hat and tee straight from the gift shop.
