Deals Not Allowed At the WSOP - Since When?
Yueqi Zhu earlier today was disqualified from Event #53 of
the World Series of Poker. Â The event is the $1,500 Limit
Holdem Shootout and each table during a round is played to a
winner. Â In Round 1 action yesterday, Zhu was heads-up on
his table and his opponent was down to 6,000 in chips. Â
Zhu was not feeling well and a deal was struck between the
two resulting in the player folding until Zhu was the
winner.

WSOP Commentary - Addressing the Tournament of Champions Voting
A lot of players, fans, and the âpoker mediaâ have
been giving their thoughts about selections for the
Tournament of Champions and how they think that this player
or that player has been slighted and that âthere
arenât enough younger championsâ etc. *Players That Were "Omitted" Had Not Done Enough*
First, this is the WSOP Tournament of Champions. Those that
argue a player based on their overall accomplishments are
missing the boat on the purpose of this game. It is supposed
to be an all-start game for WSOP Champions.

WSOP Day 30 Update - Gavin Smith Wins First Bracelet, Year of the Kessler
Day 30 of the 2010 World Series of Poker is nearly in the
books. Another $1,000 NL Holdem Event kicked off today as
well as the $2,500 Mixed Game. The $5,000 Omaha Hi-Lo is
playing to the money, but not likely the final table. The
same applies to the $1,500 NL in Day 2 play.

WSOP Commentary: Year of the Woman and Other WSOP Myths
This year at the 2010 World Series of Poker has been dubbed
with different âYear Ofâs. â I thought it was
interesting to see how some of the âbig storiesâ
coming into the 2010 WSOP have been developing. *Year of the Woman*
Coming into the WSOP, Ty Stewart made the prediction that 2
or 3 women would win open field WSOP events. Mike Matusow
stated that if this happened, he would run naked down the
strip.

WSOP Day 29 Update - Headliners Make Final Tables, Brunson Battles Juanda
Day 29 at the 2010 WSOP was a relative uneventful one. Two
final tables are underway with the HORSE World Championship
and the Event #42 $1,500 NL playing to completion tonight. The Mixed Holdem Event is playing to a final table while the
$5,000 PLO Hi-Lo and the Event #45 $1,500 NL are in Day 1
action. *Smith and Pilgirm Poised to Make Mixed Holdem Final*
The $2,500 Mixed Holdem Event is down to just 11 players and
unless they make a monumental blunder and bust out early,
both Gavin Smith and Dwyte Pilgrim will make the final table
of this event.
