Why I Do Not Agree With Harrington's Hall of Fame Selection
Yesterday, I told you guys about the new nominations for the
Poker Hall of Fame. I saved my opinions until today so to
give them their moment as that moment is definitely earned. Now that we all have had a day to process, I will give my
reasons that the fact that Dan Harrington got into the Hall
before Phil Ivey is utter BS. Reason #1.

Online Poker a Felony in Washington - Not Cool
*In Washington, playing online poker is a crime of the same
order as accessing child pornography or repeated drunk
driving. *
Can you grind here?.

The Poker Hall of Fame announced it's new class today. Erik
Seidel and Dan Harrington were both announced today to be
the 2010 inductees to the Poker Hall of Fame. Dan Harrington is naturally deserving of enshrinement. He

New Cheating Allegations Arise With UB - Anyone Surprised?
There appears to be yet ANOTHER accusation of cheating
against UltimateBet, now known as UB. As you may know, there
is a legal fight going on between Excapsa Software
(UltimateBet's Original Owners pre name change to UB),
Tokwire Enterprises (acquired UB from Excapsa via a company
called Blast Off), and Blanca Games (the folks that actually
had the balls to buy the Cereus Network. )
Blast Off quit paying Excapsa after the cheating scandal
broke in 2007 and Excapsa thinks that Blast Off is having
its assets transferred out so that they become unable to pay
the remaining portion of the $120 Million due them. The following was discovered in legal documents:
âThe Tokwiro Group and its management recently alleged
that they are the victims of a ânewly discoveredâ
cheating incident dating back to 2004 which caused former
Chief Joe Norton to abandon the internet gaming business and
has given rise to new alleged claims against Excapsa.

It looks like Scott Montgomery has become the victim of a
mugging at the Bellagio. The following were his tweets
regarding the incident:
"Got mugged today at Bellagio. Black guy pulled a knife on

PokerStars Wusses Out - Full Tilt to Follow?
For those of you hiding under a rock, PokerStars announced
earlier in the week that they are no longer serving
Washington State residents for real money gaming. This came
from the WA Supreme Court's decision that the law that bans
online gambling was not unconstitutional. They upheld the
law and PokerStars decided that it was time to get out. So many Washington players headed over to Full Tilt to chill
out with Ivey and the boys.

In the sports world. having a great agent can mean the

WSOP Europe Bracelets "Not Real Bracelets" According to Savage
The debate on whether a WSOP Europe bracelet is indeed a
valid bracelet or not has reached a new level. Â Matt
Savage was recently quoted on This Week in Poker as saying
the following about bracelets won outside of Vegas:
"I don't like it. Â I don't think it's like a real
bracelet. "Â
And "The World Series was founded in Vegas, and that's kind
of what it's about.

Put Retirement Talk on Hold - Gus Hansen Wins First Bracelet
Recently, I wrote an article about Gus Hansen and whether it
was time for him to retire. Well, I guess we can hold off the retirement plans for a
while as Hansen just delivered a healthy helping of "Fuck
you compncards" by winning the £10,350 No-Limit Hold'em
High Roller Heads-Up at the World Series of Poker Europe. Hansen navigated his way through a field of 103 players to
finally make it heads-up with Jim Collopy. The final match
was tied up 1-1 when play was paused until today to allow
for the players to play in the Main Event.
