Shutting Down Brothels = Job Growth According to Reid
So let me get this straight, Harry Reid is for online poker,
but he is against legalized brothels. On Tuesday, Reid addressed the Nevada State Legislature and
said that brothels should be shut down because they are
stifling job growth in Nevada. He claims that getting rid of
them will get rid of the tarnished image of the state. Really? Legalized sex is the reason Nevada has a tarnished
image? Yes, when I hear people talk about Nevada, I hear
them say "You know, I would go out there except for those
damned brothels.

Sorel Mizzi Accused of Cheating Yet Again
It looks like there is a new allegation of cheating
involving Sorel Mizzi. This time the accusations stem from
John Racener. Actually, the accusation came from Shaun Deeb
who was speaking for Racener on 2+2. Essentially, it boils
down to Racener and Mizzi were playing high stakes Chinese
Poker and Racener says he caught Mizzi dealing from the
bottom of the deck.

Old Vegas Story Shows How Far Poker Has Come in Handling Abusive Players
I was reminded earlier today of a couple of people I have
run across in the poker industry in my travels. I will not
name any names or even state where they work due to
respecting their privacy. However, what I will tell you is
that they are both holdovers from "Old School Vegas. "

What Do You Do When You're Bored With Poker?
So what the hell do you do when you find poker boring? Most
of you are probably thinking "I never find poker boring. " If
that is you, then great. Personally, I have had that problem
quite a bit and lately it seems to have gotten worse. In the past, I have taken mini-breaks from the game after
certain events.

Producers Screw Up Season Seven of High Stakes Poker
The announcement was made today that Gabe Kaplan is out as
the host of High Stakes Poker and in his place, we get
comedian Norm McDonald. Â In addition, this season if High
Stakes Poker will be in 3-D. Â Also, no Full Tilt Pro's
will appear on the show. First, I hate the McDonald move.
