Did Doyle Brunson Know DoylesRoom Indictment Was Coming?
It is a common and popular fact that if things look too good
to be true, they usually are. For example, in the poker world, Phil Hellmuth always
assumed that he was the most intelligent player in the game
instead of the THIRD most intelligent. The second most intelligent player is of course Doyle
Brunson who, oddly enough, seemed to know the impending
online poker doomsday. He made many attempts to alert the
poker populace of the danger, but most of his communications
were mistaken as amusing poker anecdotes such as "You don't
stop playing because you get old, you get old because you
stop playing.

Known Cheater Leads WPT 100K - And Nobody Cares
Justin "zeejustin" Bonomo is the current chip leader in the
World Poker Tour's $100,000 buy-in event. Yes, the same
Justin Bonomo who got busted for cheating at online poker
years ago. Where is the outrage? Where are the Daniel Negreanu
tweets[http://twitter. com/#!/REALKIDPOKER] talking about how
he's a disgrace? Where are the CardPlayer Magazine articles
talking about a known cheater being in the event?
You see Mr.

Full Tilt Poker and I Seem to Face the Same Problems
My editor here at PokerJunkie told me to do a blog, and I
told him that I would have an announcement about the blog on
Sunday. Well, late Sunday, I sent my boss the following email. "Since you sent me the email to write a blog for Poker
Junkie, I have faced some issues in writing the blog. I
worked tirelessly to address these problems and have made
significant progress.

Chip Reese Rule Shuts Out One of Poker's Greats - For Now
Earlier today, the Poker Hall of Fame announced that the
"Chip Reese rule" is now in place. This means that a player
must be at least 40 years old to be inducted into the Poker
Hall of Fame. What this also means is that the debate around Phil Ivey's
induction will be effectively shelved for the next five
years. To me, this is one of the biggest travesties in the history
of the PHOF's existence.

UB Cuts Full Roster of Pros as a Result of Black Friday
The hammer has fallen on UB's roster of sponsored pros. Blanca Gaming released a statement saying that
"Blancaâs executive management team today informed its
roster of sponsored pros that, in accordance with the
provisions of their agreements, their contracts have been
terminated. "
According to the press release:
"The full list of affected pros is as follows: Joe Sebok,
Prahlad Friedman, Eric âBasebaldyâ Baldwin, Maria
Ho, Brandon Cantu, Tiffany Michelle, Scott Ian,
âHollywoodâ Dave Stann, Adam âRoothlusâ
Levy, Bryan Devonshire and Trishelle Cannatella. "
I seriously doubt anyone is surprised at this.

Daniel Negreanu Disappointed With Poker Community Over UB/AP
Daniel Negreanu posted a blog on Saturday where he
essentially called out the poker community as a whole for
not blackballing UltimateBet (now UB and Absolute Poker)
over the whole cheating scandal. Now it appears the companies are going to cut and run and he
says that the community as a whole is at fault. I'm not going to disagree with Daniel's take on this as it
always seemed odd to me how the company stayed in business. And it wasn't like there were other issues outside of the
cheating scandal.

Redhead of the Month - May - Melanie Weisner
This month's Redhead of the Month comes to you via
Kevmath[http://twitter. com/#!/Kevmath]. I was having trouble
finding redheads that were Jen Tilly in poker, and so I
asked the all-knowing master of the poker knowledge for some
help. Without blinking he said "Melanie Weisner?"
So, this month's Redhead of the Month is Full Tilt Red Pro
Melanie Weisner.
