Well, after a month of "speculation", PokerRoom is now
offering live money games once again. Yes, as in the PokerRoom that ran from 1999 to 2009 before

Jimmy Sommerfeld Announces His Retirement
Got some somewhat sad news today as Jimmy Sommerfeld, one of
the best tournament directors in the business, is stepping
away from the game. Here is his announcement from TwoPlusTwo forums:

Jonathan Duhamel Finds Out the Hard Way that Women are the Rake

Wire Act Applies Only to Sports - What About "Sport of Poker"
The DOJ released a memo today that has the poker world
abuzz, and for good reason. Essentially, the memo is an opinion from Assistant Attorney
General Virginia Seitz that clearly states that the Wire Act
only applies to a "sporting event or contest. "
