Nevada Gaming Control Board Forces Palms to Pay Michael Divita $18,500
According to an article posted on QuadJack. com earlier
today, it looks like the matter surrounding Michael Divita's
exclusion from the second Epic Poker League Main Event has
been resolved. For those of you that don't remember or don't follow the
EPL, Divita won a seat into the second EPL Main Event but
was refused entry because of being a registered sex offender
in California. He was refunded his original $1,500 and
escorted out of the building.

Norman Chad - What Were You Thinkng?
Before I begin, let me state that I like Norman Chad. While
we are not friends, the few times we have either played
together or interacted, he has been a good guy. With that said, what the hell were you thinking Norm?
We know that your comic bits is part of your overall
sportscaster gimmick, but most comedians know when to draw
the line. Clearly you don't.

Tunica Trip Update - The Pokers Hate Me
Two days down, two to go here in Tunica. Got here last night and headed over to Harrahâs Tunica
to check things out. The Seniorsâ event was well in
swing and I ended up playing a single-table satellite. Did well early on but lost a key flip about mid-way to get
crippled.

Shocking News - Survey by Pro-Poker Groups Show Poker Players Support Legalized Poker
I just read an article about a survey that US Gaming Survey
did in conjunction with the Poker Players Alliance. Â
The survey had around 8,000 respondents and included poker
players primarily in the 30 to 60 year range. The survey produced the following results. Â Iâll
paraphrase:
Most poker players donât play the lottery
Many poker players quit playing online after Black Friday
70% of poker players donât care where they play if it
is legal
Poker is a game of skill
Most people spend less than $100 a week on poker.

Breaking News - Phil Ivey is Still Good at Poker
Hear that faint crying in the distance?
Thatâs the sound of the collective poker world weeping
for their bankrolls as Phil Ivey just proved that he indeed
is NOT the Tiger Woods of Golf. Ivey just won the Aussie Millions $250k Super High Roller
after taking most of 2011 off. With his $2 Million win, Ivey takes over #2 on the All-Time
Money List behind Erik âCan I do another Micros episode
so I can win more moneyâ Seidel. I could go the cliché route and talk about how Ivey
proved yet again that he is the best poker player of
all-time, but Iveyâs bankroll is doing the talking for
him.

Poker is Not the Issue Obama's Looking For
If I've said it once, I've said it probably about 14 or 15
times in print. Poker is not that big of an issue to the
public at large. Tonight, I watched President Obama deliver the State of the
Union address. Â He addressed many pressing topics that
affect America as a whole.

Sommerfeld's

that I may go down to Tunica to play in the Circuit Event at

Just read today's

Bet on Pokerlistings on how German player Martin Finger
decided that it was a good idea to sucker punch Jonathan
Duhamel in the face. The post goes on to state that Duhamel "likely deserved" a
bit of what he got.
