Event #49 of the 2010 WSOP was another $1,500 NL Holdem Event.  2,543 players turned out for this event to rumble for a bracelet and $609,493.

Just over 300 players returned on Day 2 looking to cash in this event.  Those that went home with some jingle in their pockets were Peter Feldman, Eddy Sabat, David Danesghar, Matt Matros, Allen Kessler, Aadam Daya, and Roland DeWolfe.

Heads-up play in this event was between Michael Linn and Taylor Larkin.  Linn led 7.8 Million to 3.6 Million at the start of heads-up play.  Heads-up play lasted for a while but never got much past where he started at during heads-up.  The final hand between the two saw Larkin move all-in with Qh-Js against the Ad-2c of Linn.  A deuce on the flop put Linn in the lead and the turn and river were both baby cards to give Michael Linn his first bracelet.

Michael Linn wins his first WSOP bracelet and $609,493.  Congratulations.
