Mel Judah is one of Australias greatest poker players of all time and a dedicated poker junkie. The Aussie Millions is one of the highlights of they year for poker playing Aussies, and "The Silverfox" Judah is showing good form before the Main Event, which starts on Sunday.
In Event 3, A$1,100 Omaha Hi-Lo, Judah defeated 101 opponents including Russian sensations Ivan Demidov and Alexander Kostritsyn, to take home the A$30,600 first prize and an Aussie Millions ring, valued at A$4,000.
To date, Judah has won over $3 million in major tournaments, but never scored a really big win in his home country. Maybe this will change in the 2009 Aussie Millions Main Event.
