WSOP Africa 2010 Quasi Event

WSOP Africa has a really nice ring to it, and right now the African WSOP action is bustling on site in South Africa. But it's a remarkably small event.
Having the World Series of Poker visit Africa is a great idea, and right now that idea is becoming a reality in The Emerald Resort and Casino south of Johannesburg in South Africa.
However it's an astonishingly small event. Only two tournaments are included, a $1,100 PLO with $300 rebuys and the $5,000 No Limit Holdem Main Event.
Both events are "non ring", meaning the winner does not get a golden WSOP Circuit ring. They also don't get any WSOP Circuit ranking points.
Felipe "Mojave" Ramos of Brazil won the $1,100 PLO event. We'll be back with the results of the 2010 WSOP Africa $5,000 Main Event.
