Day 1 saw several big names move on to Day 2 action including Scotty Nguyen, Annette Obrestad, Jason Mercier, and Robert Mizrachi. Obrestad and Mercier both made the money in the event. Mizrachi on the other hand did a bit better and made the final table of this event. This was Mizrachi's third final table of the WSOP.
Scott Mandel was the chip leader going into the final table. Here are the final nine players and their starting stacks:
Scott Mandel | 1,211,000 |

Eric Liu | 771,000 |
Robert Mizrachi | 711,000 |

Mizrachi never got much going and fell in 8th place. Heads-up play in this event was between Kevin Boudreau and Chance Kornuth. Stacks were relatively event at the start of heads-up play with Boudreau leading 3.6 Million to 3.2 Million.
It didn't take long to crown our champion. Kevin Boudreau three-bet to 600,000 pre-flop and Kornuth called to see a flop of Jd-8c-2h. Boudreau bet the pot and Kornuth moved all-in. Boudreau called and turned over Kc-Kh-4s-As for a pair of kings. Kornuth showed Qc-8h-9d-6c for just a pair and straight draw. The turn fell the 8s to give Kornuth the lead and Boudreau was left needing a king. The river fell the 3c and it was all over.
