Almira Skripchenko - Go Sister Go!
Each time a respected chess player makes a run in poker, it's good for poker. Some of chess' reputation spills over to the less respected game of poker.
Each time a woman makes a run in poker, it's good for her fellow sisters. A little of the winners' reputation spills over to the less respected gender.

Half Russian, half American, born in Moldova and a resident of France, Almira Skripchenko is clearly an über smart lady.
Having won the World Youth Chess World Championships at the age of 15 and the Ladies European Championship at 25, she's now contending for the Chess World Champion title.
You go girl!
Meanwhile, please play some big poker event once in a while too will you!
