2011 WSOP Commentary - Is This Really the End for Doyle ?

1 5 July 2011 , By: compncards
It is very possible we have seen the end of an era in tournament poker. Before the beginning of the 2011 WSOP $50,000 Poker Player's Championship, Doyle Brunson stated the following on Twitter: TexDolly @PokerLawyer *Thanks, you might be watching my last tournament. If I don't play well (up to my standards), I may retire from tournament poker. * Doyle made it to Day 2 of the event, but failed to make Day 3.

Michael Mizrachi Wins1

I won't lie.   The main reason I watched was to see if they got some shots of me around the Rio.

Poker2Nite Cancelled

21 May 2010 , By: compncards
It appears the Poker2Nite is no more, or at least according to the twitter’s of Joe Sebok and Scott Huff. Poker2Nite was a poker news program that started on Fox Sports Net and then moved to Versus for season 2. The program was cancelled due to sponsors not renewing according to a twitter from Huff. I wish I could say that this was shocking.
