Pot Dispensing "Poker Player" on This Season of Survivor

13 September 2011 , By: compncards
Jim Rice 206x300
In the "how is this poker news" category we have a supposed "poker player" by the name of Jim Rice that will appear on the current season of Survivor. Not to be confused with baseball great Jim Rice of the Boston Red Sox, this guy has supposedly won 40 poker tournaments according to his CBS bio. I guess 39 of those are online cause he only has one win listed on Hendon Mob[http://pokerdb. thehendonmob.

Kaplan
The announcement was made today that Gabe Kaplan is out as the host of High Stakes Poker and in his place, we get comedian Norm McDonald.   In addition, this season if High Stakes Poker will be in 3-D.   Also, no Full Tilt Pro's will appear on the show. First, I hate the McDonald move.

November Nine Final 3 430x271
Before I head into today's final recap, let me suggest that whatever you do, watch the broadcast of this on Tuesday.   This should be one of the best episodes of the WSOP on ESPN in poker history. *Senti Comes Up Short - Dolan Flames Out* Jason Senti made a helluva run to come back from being in last place, but his run finished in 7th place.   As was customary early on in this event, this was another sick beat.
