The first ever WSOP themed event just concluded at the Emerald Casino in Gauteng, South Africa, and nobody gives a damn. You didn't know that there was to be a WSOP Africa event? You aren't alone. Back before the beginning of the 2010 WSOP, there was an announcement that the WSOP would hold an event in Africa. It was going to be the WSOP Africa.

First WSOP Circuit Regional Championship Kicks Off Monday

Monday will kick off the first ever Regional Championship in WSOP Circuit history. For those of you that don't know, the WSOP Circuit has revamped itself this year and players at each stop have a chance to win their way into a season-ending National Championship event that even awards a WSOP bracelet. Now, I applaud the WSOP for revamping their circuit events. The buzz around them has been great and the $10,000 Event Monday should draw a strong crowd.

Why I Do Not Agree With Harrington's Hall of Fame Selection

Yesterday, I told you guys about the new nominations for the Poker Hall of Fame. I saved my opinions until today so to give them their moment as that moment is definitely earned. Now that we all have had a day to process, I will give my reasons that the fact that Dan Harrington got into the Hall before Phil Ivey is utter BS. Reason #1.

Scott Montgomery Robbed at Knife Point

It looks like Scott Montgomery has become the victim of a mugging at the Bellagio. The following were his tweets regarding the incident: "Got mugged today at Bellagio. Black guy pulled a knife on me in the restroom. I gave him the $2k in my wallet and he left.
