Gloria Balding Leaves Poker for.....Virginia?
Yesterday, I was browsing through my twitter (shameless link
placement) and I ran across the following tweet from Gloria
Balding:
GloriaJoy[http://twitter. com/#%21/GloriaJoy] Packing like a
mad woman to move across the country to Virginia. Countdown
T-Minus 4 days. As a resident of Virginia, the first thing that came to my
mind was.

What I Am Thankful for This Christmas
Christmas is this weekend and I figured I would blog about
what I am thankful for as we are approaching the holiday
season. First, I am thankful to be alive. As simple as that sounds,
last year I could not have told you whether I would live to
see another Christmas. I will blog about that sometime in
the future.

High Stakes Poker on GSN Cancelled
Earlier today, Buzzblog. com revealed that High Stakes Poker
is no longer on the schedule for GSN starting in January. I told you so!!!
I said back when Norm MacDonald started this year that he
would be the death of the show. (Black Friday obviously
helped a little.

WSOP Europe Predictions Revisited
The WSOP Europe has reached their final table with Shawn
Buchanan, Chris Moorman, and Jake Cody headlining. Â
Normally I would wait until after Main Event was finished to
update my predictions, but since none of my predictions are
impacted by the final table, I figured I would go ahead and
share how I did. *Phil Hellmuth Will Have One Strong Showing and May Take the
POY Lead - Push*
After Hellmuth whiffed Events 2 through 7, I almost
considered this a loss, but since my wording said "may take
the lead" I get to call this a push. Â I know, I am angle
shooting my own predictions.

2011 WSOP Europe Predictions
The World Series of Poker Europe just kicked off on Friday
at Casino Barriere de Cannes Croisette and the Hôtel
Majestic Barrière in Cannes, France. As usual, I like to make predictions regarding the series,
but I am a bit late getting to them this time around. Here are some of my predictions for this years WSOP-E. *Phil Hellmuth Will Have at Least 1 Strong Showing and May
Take POY Lead*
Phil Hellmuth has been on a tear at the WSOP this year and I
believe that he will continue it through the WSOP-E.
