We Don't Need No Stinkin Commissioner
The 2010 World Series of Poker was posted briefly online
earlier in the day and then taken down. If you go over to
2+2 forums, you can take a look at what was posted. Odds are
that the schedule is nowhere near accurate, but it gives you
a good idea of what to expect. In an equally as interesting article in the Las Vegas Sun,
Seth Palansky, the talking head of the WSOP, gave some
insight into next yearâs WSOP.

Oops, They Did It Again - Man Wins WSOP-C Ladies Event
Ninety-two women entered a poker tournament on Saturday. Four men decided to join them. That's 23 women to every 1
man. The result? A man yet again wins a ladies poker
tournament.

Old Schoolers Take on USPC
Day 2 of the USPC kicked off Tuesday and the event of the
day was a 7 Card Stud event. Looking around at the players,
I recognized a couple of old schoolers, and found a friend
of mine in âDetroitâ Allen Green. Al is a great limit poker player and has numerous final
tables in limit events, especially stud. Todayâs event
drew 68 players, so the players were in for a long day at
the table.

United States Poker Championships Underway
The United States Poker Championships kicked off today with
a NL Holdem event. It drew 164 players, which is a decent
sized field compared to last year, but still a relatively
small field. The cash games were fairly hopping but the waits were a bit
much. 16 tables in the room were tied up with the
tournaments and others blocked off for satellites and as a
result, new games started at somewhat of a slow rate.
