I finally got around to watching the Daniel Negreanu Vlog this week after Kevmath's not so subtle hint. During the video I hear the middle school girls in my head going "Dude, seriously? That is so gross. " About a minute in I stole a line from Finding Nemo and just started singing "Just keep shilling, shilling, shilling. " I want to know if Daniel got any kickback for his infomercial.

Federated Sports and Gaming announced today that they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy at the end of the day on Tuesday. Cue Daniel Negreanu's "I told you so" video blog. No, he hasn't made one.

Got some somewhat sad news today as Jimmy Sommerfeld, one of the best tournament directors in the business, is stepping away from the game. Here is his announcement from TwoPlusTwo forums: I started in the poker business some 18 years ago, because I was a bad 1-5 seven card stud player. Yesterday, I turned in my resignation as Tournament Manager for the WSOP. I will be resigning the WSOPCE effective March 1, 2012.
