Since the US DOJ released their amended complaint on Tuesday and called Full Tilt a "Ponzi scheme" there has been a ton of outcry, speculation, rumors, interview, etc from all over the poker world. Here are a few tidbits that I have been personally contemplating.   A few I have expressed, and some I have not. First, am I really one of the only people that finds it both ironic and almost hypocritical that the Poker Player's Alliance is being so vocal during all of this.

Earlier today, I was contacted by sources that stated that new information will be released by the U. S. Department of Justice. He could not confirm when the exact date would be, but it appears that it will be sometime between September and December of 2011.

Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest has legally changed his name to Metta World Peace. To quote WWE Superstar The Miz, really? At least his intentions are good. He is trying to inspire and bring youth together as a result of his name change. Naturally, this got me thinking about poker players that might consider legally changing their names.

After a brief absence due to the WSOP, my Redhead of the Month column has returned. This month, I bring you a figure that is loosely known in poker but is much more of a celebrity worldwide - just maybe not in the best of circumstances. The August Redhead of the Month is Russian Spy Anna Chapman. Why would a Russian spy make a Redhead of the Month list on a poker site? Well, she does have the Iphone app "Poker with Anna Chapman.

We are officially in the post-WSOP doldrums. I've been perusing the various sites for news and, as expected, there is your typical mix of relevant poker news and filler. The problem is that there seems to be a lot of filler. The fluffy bunnies are now playing poker it seems.
