Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul Joins Global Poker League as Wildcard Pick

Actor Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame and current star of Hulu show The Path was named yesterday by Team Manager Maria Ho as the wildcard pick for the LA Sunset.
A notable poker enthusiast who played in the World Series of Poker Main Event last year, Paul let his fans know how he feels about on Twitter:

“I love poker as a game and mindsport," Paul added in a release, "so I’m excited to be part of this new eSports league.
“Representing the LA Sunset together with some of the best players in the world should be a blast.”
Paul joins German wunderkind Fedor Holz, heads-up crusher Olivier Busquet, high-stakes reg Chance Kornuth, PokerStars pro Eugene Katchalov and Ho as players on the Sunset.
He's yet to be slotted in to play any matches, although it's fairly safe to say as a comparative amateur he'll likely play in a six-max event over the heads-up portion.
With Dallas Mavericks owner and fellow eSports enthusiast Mark Cuban tweeting his approval, Global Poker League CEO Alex Dreyfus is naturally pretty chuffed:
