The 2014 World Series of Poker is now concluded until
November and this year's series has proven the most
successful in history. Back in mid-May, I made my annual

losses, but just barely. Ivey and Hellmuth Win Bracelets - Daniel Blanks -- Result:
2/3 Credit
Selbst Wins Women Make an Impact - Result: Half Credit
At Least Two Qualifiers from WSOP. com Make the November Nine
--Result: Fail
Mixed Game Tournament Set Records - Result: Epic Win
Main Event Field = 7,063 - Result - Half Credit.

Vanessa Selbst - From "Blowup" to Blowing Up the Poker World
Vanessa Selbst has just won her third career WSOP bracelet. It also makes her the only woman in history with three
open-field bracelets. It is hard to believe that Vanessa's first WSOP final table
was in 2006. Here is a video of her talking about that final
table and what ended up being her bustout hand.

My NBC National Heads-Up Championship Predictions
The NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship kicks off today
at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Normally, I don't go too
deep in covering this type of event other than giving whom I
think will win. This year is different since I actually have some money
riding on this thing. I'm currently part of the little
bracket contest that @kevmath is holding for the event.

Top 10 Moments in Poker for 2010 - Part 2
In yesterday's blog, I started counting down my list of the
Top 10 Poker Moments of 2010 by giving you #10 through
#6. Â Today, I will give you the my top five moments. *#5 - Phil Ivey Wins 8th Bracelet*
*
**
*
Many of you would figure that Ivey's 8th bracelet win would
be the #1 moment in poker for me this year, but I expect him
to win every year, so this was not a surprise. Â However,
the way he came back against Bill Chen was definitely news
worthy.

WSOP Main Event Day 5 Update - Ladies, Johnny, and The Brothers
Only 7. 8% of the original 7,319 players that started the
Main Event this year have survived the first four days of
play - 574 for those of you that care to not do the math. Jack Effel has estimated that we will lose at least half of
that today and have around 275 players left after the four
levels have been finished. We will be here all day to gather
up the stories of the day.

WSOP Main Event Day 3 Evening Update – Cada Bust, Year of the Woman?, and Girls of the Rail
Day 3 is in the books with little over 1,200 players
surviving to come back tomorrow afternoon for Day 4, that
still is not enough for them to all be in one room, but they
should get there sometime in the first few levels. *No Returning Champs*
Shortly before dinner 2010 Main Event Champion Joe Cada was
eliminated from this year's Main Event. Not since Johnny
Chan won back to back years in '87 and '88 have we seen a
repeat champion. Speaking of Johnny Chan, he ended the night
with approximately 630k.

tables in both the $1,000 NL, the $1,500 NL, and the $5,000

aren't a lot of big names in the other final tables. Â The
high profile event of the day is the $25,000 Six-Handed NL
