Jeff Lisandro Makes Valid Points on Gambling Culture and Poker
Some of you may have heard about a "fight" over the weekend
between Jeffrey Lisandro and Brandon Cantu. At the time that
the incident went down, we didn't know many details but
Bluff Magazine's Thomas Keeling was able to get Jeff on
camera and he told his side of what happened.

What if Poker Players Legally Changed Their Names?
Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest has legally changed his
name to Metta World Peace. To quote WWE Superstar The Miz, really?
At least his intentions are good. He is trying to inspire
and bring youth together as a result of his name change. Naturally, this got me thinking about poker players that
might consider legally changing their names.

Prahlad Friedman Beatdown Video = Epic Win
As most of you know, Prahlad Friedman (aka #AssClown to
@AsianSpa) recently signed with UB amid a flurry of
controversy. Â Now, someone has taken to the Youtube
airways with their own Prahlad Friedman "beatdown video"
entitled "Black and Yellow. "
All I am going to say is that this is an EPIC WIN of a
video:

Prahlad Friedman a UB Pro - Sellout, Hypocrite, or Shrewd Businessman?
Prahlad Friedman has officially signed as a UB sponsored
pro. The announcement was made on UB's blog earlier today
with a video of Friedman pointing out that he is joining the
"new UB. "[assets/Uploads/Blog/Ted-Dibiase. jpg]Among the
initial reaction were cries of "sellout" from both fans and
pros.

Friedman a UB Pro? Maybe He Should Reconsider
Unless you have been living under a rock, or trapped in an
airport over the holidays, you know that Annie Duke and Phil
Hellmuth have both left UB. Â When Hellmuth's departure
was announced on December 30th, UB also hinted that new pros
would be added to the roster. Â Later that night, Allen
Kessler pointed out on twitter that Annie Duke's bio page
now had Prahlad's Friedman's name on it. Â Here is a shot
of the page:
With that, everyone has assumed that Friedman has indeed
signed a deal with UB.

Prahlad Friedman is no Longer Karma's Bitch
It looks like karma has finally decided to get off Prahlad
Friedman's back. After going 0 for everything since the 2006
WSOP Main Event, Friedman made his first cash in over 2 1/2
years at the 2009 WSOP Main Event. He has now won the
Legends of Poker Main Event for $1 Million. Don't get me wrong, Friedman is a great player, but I never
have had any respect for him since what he pulled with Jeff
Lisandro.

Karma Favors Jeff Lisandro
Jeff Lisandro won his second WSOP bracelet on Monday. For
many of you that watch poker on TV, you may remember
Lisandro from the 2006 World Series of Poker. Prahlad
Friedman accused Lisandro of stealing another playerâs
ante before a hand and eventually the argument got very
heated and almost came to blows. ESPN heavily edits many poker tournaments and I had a chance
to talk to Jeff in 2007 during a Stud 8 tournament at the
WSOP.
