WSOP Europe Bracelets "Not Real Bracelets" According to Savage
The debate on whether a WSOP Europe bracelet is indeed a
valid bracelet or not has reached a new level. Â Matt
Savage was recently quoted on This Week in Poker as saying
the following about bracelets won outside of Vegas:
"I don't like it. Â I don't think it's like a real
bracelet. "Â
And "The World Series was founded in Vegas, and that's kind
of what it's about.

Phil Laak Wins First Bracelet - WTF!?!?
Congratulations to Phil Laak for winning his first bracelet. WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!? Phil Laak won a bracelet?!?!? O_O
Yup, Phil Laak just took down Event #1 at the World Series
of Poker Europe for his first bracelet and £ 170,802. He
survived a stacked field of 244 players and a final table
that included Chris Bjorin. Also, don't forget that he did this all while playing with a
broken arm and recovering from a serious accident he had
last month.

Phil Laak Shatters Record
Phil Laak is known for being outrageous but
I don't think that word can really describe
what he just did. Â Laak played poker for over 115 hours
straight at the Bellagio poker room this week. He set out to
break the Guinness world record of 72 hours and 2 minutes by
Larry Olmsted and the unofficial record by Dave Cain of 74
hours and 12 minutes. Not only did he do that but he set a
completely new standard of crazy and played for
over 115 hours.
