It Is NOT Time to Ban Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson From the WSOP
I was listening to Bluff Magazine's "The Rundown" yesterday
and they mentioned an article on PokerListings. com written
by Lee Davy that asked whether Howard Lederer and Chris
Ferguson should be banned from the World Series of Poker. *The WSOP nor Caesars Have Been Harmed*
The first, and most relevant point against the banning of
Ferguson and Lederer is the fact that both are in good
standing with both Caesars and the World Series of Poker. As
players, neither have cheated the company nor behaved
inappropriately during their play at the WSOP, or at least
not at any level that would warrant a ban.

What Was Doyle Thinking?
I'd really like to know what Doyle Brunson is thinking. I'm sure that many of you by now have read Doyle's recent
Blog post but for those of you that haven't, he essentially
says while Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson made "terrible
mistakes," he doesn't hold any ill-will towards them and
thinks they should be welcomed back into the poker
community. The fact that Doyle comes out supporting his friends doesn't
surprise me. The fact he's doing so now during a time where
he should almost expect to take major heat for his words
does.

Five Reasons Why the WWE is Better than Full Tilt Poker
As many of you know, I am a fan of professional wrestling. While many of you diss sports entertainment, at least they
don't pretend that the show is on the level. We can't same the same for Full Tilt Poker. Today, I give
you five reasons the *WWE* is better than Full Tilt Poker.

I Actually Agree With Daniel Negreanu
Last Friday, a video interview was posted of Daniel Negreanu
and for the first time in a long time, I actually agree with
him on many of the points in the video.
If you claim I said that, I will deny it.

What if Poker Players Legally Changed Their Names?
Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest has legally changed his
name to Metta World Peace. To quote WWE Superstar The Miz, really?
At least his intentions are good. He is trying to inspire
and bring youth together as a result of his name change. Naturally, this got me thinking about poker players that
might consider legally changing their names.

WSOP Day 38 Second Update - TOC Finally Over, Daniel Alaei Wins 3rd Bracelet, and the Circus is Coming!!
It has been a very interesting, and late, night at the 2010
World Series of Poker. Four events were underway tonight,
but only half of them completed. Huck Seed won the
Tournament of Champions and Daniel Alaei won his 3rd career
bracelet. *Tournament of Champions Grind Finally Over*
While many pros did their typical "thank you for the
opportunity" speech at the end of the event, the one word
that stuck out before the final table began was
#clusterfuck.

Phil Ivey Suspended for Multi-Accounting
Full Tilt Poker announced today that Phil Ivey's red pro
status has been suspended for six months following an
investigation that revealed multi-accounting on his part. Full Tilt's media liaison April Lewbonky told media members
in attendance "Mr. Ivey has been spotted playing under the
account "Studdly" in lower stake games on the sites and in
smaller tournaments. Upon further investigation, we
discovered that the account originated from his IP address
and further study of hand histories pointed that Mr.

Big Name Pro's Take Down Smaller Events
Many times in the poker world, we get so caught up into who
won a bracelet or who took down a WPT title that we forget
the fact that there are many tournaments held across the
world. In the past month, several big names have taken down
tournaments to add to their impressive resumes. Howard Lederer won the $10,000 H. O.

Big Names Showing Up at the World Series of Poker Europe
So we are down to the final table of Event #2 of the World
Series of Poker Europe and it looks like the pros are
continuing their dominance at the table. JP Kelly took down
the Event #1 bracelet to technically make him yet another
multi-bracelet winner for 2009. Kelly took the $1,500 PL
Holdem event in Vegas this summer. Chris Ferguson finished
in 15th.
