Initial Thoughts on Full Tilt Sale
I got out of bed this afternoon expecting to see a slew of
gripe posts about how the AGCC screwed over Full Tilt and
people complaining about not being able to get their
balances. Instead, I see the following:
Full Tilt Sold to Bernie Tapie Group
At first I thought it was a joke. Then I read it was legit
and that Tapie had even conducted an interview regarding the
"Acquisition Agreement. "
A few thoughts:

AGCC Revocation Further Exposes Full Tilt's Crooked Policies
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission earlier today
announced that they are revoking the online eGaming licenses
of Full Tilt Poker, a move that came as little surprise to
anyone that looked at the situation realistically. What did surprise me is the fact that Full Tilt seemed to
lay down and gave up when it came to the hearing. Â Per
the AGCC's press release and Determination Notice, once Full
Tilt's motion to delay the hearing further was denied, they
pretty much packed up their ball and went home. Really? Your company's future hangs on whether or not
your license is revoked and you basically say "screw it,
we're outta here?"
That tells me two things.

Full Tilt Finally Pays Out - Just Not to You
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission announced today
that Full Tilt has paid the license fees that were due. According to reports, this amount was reported to be around
$410,000. In its statement regarding the matter, the AGCC claimed
that "The recent payment of overdue license fees by FTP is
also in playersâ best interests since it allows
commercial negotiations to take place that might result in a
successful refinancing deal. "
If you read between the lines, that basically equates to "We
will give them their license back should Full Tilt secure a
deal.

Full Tilt Hearing - I Told You So
There is no other way to put this but to say, I told you so. I said weeks ago that if the Alderney Gambling Control
Commission was to reinstate Full Tiltâs license that
they would need to show that they are making significant
process towards paying US players back. Guess what? That hasnât happened. Oh, guess what
else? The trial was adjourned until the middle of
September.

Full Tilt's License Revocation - First Steps or the Final Straw?
I got up this morning and one of my clients asked me to
write an article based on a link they sent me. It was not
2011 WSOP related, which was actually a welcome change. In case you are that guy living under the rock in the Geico
commercial, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission has
temporarily suspended Full Tilt Poker's
license[http://www. pokerjunkie.
