$10m Guarantee for 2014 WSOP Main Event
The official schedule for the 2014 World Series of Poker has now been released with a surprising $10 Million guarantee for the Main Event winner.
The January win total for New Jersey iGaming was also released with casinos bringing in $94. million in revenue - a 28% gain month-over-month.
2014 WSOP Main Event to Offer $10 Million Guarantee for First
The schedule for the 2014 World Series of Poker was released on Monday. In celebration of the WSOP's 10th year at the Rio in Las Vegas, officials revealed that the Main Event would pay $10 million guaranteed for first place.
Over $200 million in prize money is expected to be available this summer along with the 65 gold bracelets. Sixteen events will feature buy-ins of $10,000 or more.
The 2014 WSOP will kick off with a $25,000 Mixed-Max Event that will start nine-handed on Day 1, play six-handed on Day 2, four-handed on Day 3 and heads-up on the final day.
This summer will also feature the return of the $1 million buy-in Big One For ONE DROP Platinum bracelet event. This year's event is estimated to award over $20 million for first place.
Other events featured on the schedule include a $1,000 PL Omaha Event, a $1,500 Monster Stack Event with 15,000 in starting chips and twelve $10,000 buy-in events featuring nearly every discipline of poker available at the WSOP.

New Jersey iGaming Revenues Up 28%
The NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement has released the online win for Atlantic City casinos in January. A total of $9,461,057 was won by casinos in January, up 28% from December 2013.
Each online casino posted gains month-over-month in New Jersey. Borgata and Caesars took the majority of the win, earning $3.88 million and $3.02 million respectively.
The two sites currently dominate 97% of the online poker market.
Since the launch in late November 2013, 197,782 iGaming accounts have been created in New Jersey. Online poker cash traffic in New Jersey averages about 550 players per day.
