The Bell Tolls for Lesnar at WWE BattleGround
I was getting ready to write a blog about some of the poker media's reaction to Daniel Negreanu busting out of the November Nine but then I went over to check out the results of WWE BattleGround.
King Barrett Won - Not a Big Shock. R Truth is mainly just used to build up talent nowadays.
Orton Beat Sheamus - Considering I didn't know the two were even wrestling in this event, I'm meh on this one.
Prime Time Players beat The New Day - New Day sucks....New Day sucks
Bray Wyatt over Roman Reigns - Not bad. Wyatt needed a win against a solid character to help build his own.
Charlotte beats Sasha Banks and Brie Bella - Whoooooo!
John Cena beats Kevin Owens - Damn....I guess that's it for Owens' push.
Seth Rollins Beats Brock Lesnar by Disqualification after THE UNDERTAKER interferes!!!!
WHAT THE F**K
I read a rumor a couple of days ago that said that Undertaker might wrestle at SummerSlam but I took it with a grain of salt.
Not only is he going to wrestle, but he is going to take another crack at Lesnar?
Granted, I realize that Taker has lost some weight and regained a few steps, but boy does this move take balls.
It also tells me a couple of things:
1. Undertaker isn't quite ready to retire. I'm calling an Undertaker victory right now.
2. Undertaker vs. Sting at WrestleMania is now looking more of a lock than it did last year.
This is the first time we will see Undertaker compete outside of WrestleMania in years. He must be feeling pretty damn good to come out for SummerSlam.
Either that or he was paid VERY WELL for the match.
Suffice it to say that I now have a reason to watch SummerSlam.
Well played WWE. Well played.
