With 364 more players in todays field than yesterdays we expected the quantity of hot female players to at least match or possibly surpass that from yesterday. Unfortunately we were meet with disappointment, but we did have a devil sighting.

Sometimes a good stretch....

is needed to wake up, or at least to get some attention and a possible photo-op. That must have been the thought going through Erica Schoenberg's head when we found her today.

I seriously think that she was trying to make love to my camera, maybe I should just give up on this writing stuff and become a full time photographer.

The Devil is in the Room

Earlier today after the "Shuffle up and Deal" command a cymbal crash could be heard throughout the Amazon room. Once play got underway we started hunting down who was responsible for the crash. After a brief discussion with some of the other reporters we were directed to table 333 seat 6, where we found the Devil himself David Ritter.

David "the Devil" Ritter

Throughout the day we have been keeping an eye on him, trying to figure out what other things he may do today. He was seen earlier writing things down, possibly names of people he is going to take souls from, and he was also fumbling around with a white board under the table. It is still unknown as to why he has a white board, but just as we went onto dinner break he once again pulled the cymbals out to give us another crash.

Poker Junkies

On one of my rounds within the Amazon room I saw a gentleman getting a 1 orbit penalty for showing his cards before announcing that he was making the call. His shirt caught my eye as he exited the room for his unscheduled break.

Mars

Once he returned to the room we found out that he is Mars Callahan, an actor and film director. He was an actor along with screenwriter and director of "Poolhall Junkies" and now it seems that he is working on a new film titled "Poker Junkies" that is planned to be released in 2011.

Day 1b is coming to a close, tomorrow brings day 3 or 1c or whatever you want to call it. We will be back then looking for the hot girls, and hopefully no more devils.
