Heads-up play in this event was between Shawn Busse and Owen Crowe.  At the start of heads-up play, Crowe led Busse 6.25 Million to just 3.135 million.  Busse doubled up through Crowe to pull to almost even when Crowe's Ad-4s failed to outrun the pocket sevens of Busse.  Then Crowe took a big risk that left him crippled.  After calling a raise to 200,000 from Busse pre-flop, the two saw a flop of 8h-5h-5s.  A mini-raising war ensued where Busse moved all-in.  Crowe told Busse that he must have aces and made the call holding Jh-9h.  Busse indeed had aces.  Crow failed to catch his flush or running straight cards and Crow was down to just 200,000 in chips.

The next hand, Crowe moved all-in blind and Busse made the call.  Crow held 5-3 of hearts and Busse held A-4 offsuit.  The board double paired and the ace for Busse played.  As such, Shawn Busse is the Event #47 Champion.  He took home $485,791 and the coveted gold bracelet.
