PokerStars throws in more than $1,000,000 worth of added seats in their Extreme Satellites to the upcoming WCOOP.
The eighth season of the World Cup of Online Poker (WCOOP) explodes in our happy faces on September 3.
WCOOP 2009 with $40M guarantee
During 18 days of wild and crazy online poker, 45 events will be played out on PokerStars, offering a total of $40,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
The 2009 WCOOP ends on September 20 to the tunes of two big events, a $10,300 HORSE High Roller Event and the two-day long $5,200 no-limit holdem Main Event featuring a $10,000,000 guarantee.
Except for the WCOOP Main Event, the biggest individual guarantee is found in WCOOP Event 28, a $1,050 no-limit holdem event on September 13, with a $3,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Satellites with added seats
From August 4 to August 16, PokerStars runs 28 satellites with added seats to the various WCOOP events. The total value of the added seats exceeds one million dollars, making PokerStars one of the most interesting poker sites to be at in the near future.
The biggest individual added value is found in the Main Event satellite on August 16, offering 50 added seats worth $5,200 each, for a total added value of $260,000 in that satellite alone.
