Home of Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke, old-timer poker site Ultimate Bet changes its name to UB.com and goes into new poker network Cereus.
Ultimate Bet has been well-known among poker aficionados for years now. Not least thanks to a couple of poker superstars sponsoring the site - Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke.
Another strong card in this site's poker hand has been the very rich offer of exotic poker variations like Pineapple, several mixed games and two variations of Triple Draw - really popular not least amongst high stakes pros.

When Ultimate Bet changes its name to UB.com and joins with Absolute Poker to form the Cereus network, several games disappear from the menu. Some poker nerds will miss them, but there are many sweet spots to make up for the loss.
For example, the lobby gets a complete redesign for "improved navigation and usability". Colored icons and more detailed game filters make it easier to find the games you want to play in.
The tournament schedule has had a remake as well, now featuring more than 30 new guaranteed tournament with a total of $1 million extra prize money.
