Mason Raymond's Top 3
1. Patrik Antonius - The Fin was hot, hot, hot today. And lucky, lucky, lucky - especially when he eliminated John Esposito. Esposito flopped the nut straight, but got beaten by Antoniuses runner-runner boat. Some of John's fans in the stand got really upset, and for a moment I thought they would trash the place, but things calmed down rather quickly. John himself took this horrendous Bad Beat like a man and just walked away. During the course of the day, Antonius knocked out Arnold Spree and Dan Harrington as well.
2. The Bubble Burst - I tried to get hold of the guy who finished in 101st place, but he got away from me. I can understand him; it's really frustrating to burst the bubble. I talked to John Sanders, who finished in 100th place, instead. - My goal was to make the money, and I made it, said John, who walked away from the WPT finals with $43,935 in prize money.
3. David Williams - Just like Patrik Antonius, Williams had a really good day, knocking out both T.J. Cloutier and Erick Lindgren. At this point, Williams is my pick to win the tournament. He is a great poker player, and seems to be in the zone. Some of the plays he made today were unbelievable.
