Friday, Nov 7, 2008 The Full Tilt Online Poker Series X is at Full Swing

The tenth Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS X) started earlier this week. So far three events have been completed and over $1.5 million in price money has been paid out.

5,124 players entered the no limit holdem event hosted by Full Tilt pro Mike Matusow. After over nine hours of play davin77 from Germany brought home the victory and $195,757.30 in first price. He also gets a brand new golden shirted avatar.

Mike Matusow, the host himself, busted out early. Two time FTOPS winner Halfrek had a good run but just missed the final table and ended in 9th place. In May this year he took down two FTOPS events.

The $240 pot limit Omaha tourney (FTOPS Event 2#) had 1,165 entrants. It was won by TeamShizz from the US, who brought home $51,260. Full Tilt pro Gary Jones came in seventh. Event #3 was a $500 no limit holdem tourney. The $76,545 first price was won by mrvogt from Denmark.

FTOPS X has just started and there are many events to come. All in all 25 events will be played and the total price pool exceeds $15 million!
