Friday, Jan 30, 2009 Million Dollar Challenge - The 'Durrrr' challenge is still on

Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan has had a real bad start in 2009 and is down over $3.5 million so far. But it seems like his million dollar challenge is still on. In a recent chat conversation durrrr said that the first match will start in the middle of February.

$3.5 million down in a month is a lot by all standards, but durrrr doesn't seem too beaten down. The challenge is to play at least 50,000 hands heads-up at a minimum of four tables at the same time. The game will be either NL holdem or PL Omaha.

The player coming out ahead after the hands are finished will be declared the winner. If durrrr wins he will receive $500 000 from his opponent and if he loses he will pay $1.5 million.

Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey have already accepted the challenge, along with 'MR B 2 U SON' who is rumored to be David Benyamnie.
