Wednesday, Jul 30, 2008 Spectacular heads-up action in Poker After Dark

The NBC show Poker After Dark continues to renew itself. This Season will feature something out of the ordinary. In one episode all the previous NBC National Heads-up Poker Championship winners will battle it out in a new heads-up format.

Phil Hellmuth, Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson, Ted Forrest and Paul Wasicka will play against each other in a $200,000 winner-takes-it-all heads-up tournament.

The four previous NBC National Heads-up Poker champions have all paid $50,000 each and will face each other in a series of randomly drawn match-ups.

In the first match 2008 NHUPC champion Jesus Ferguson meets 2007 winner Paul Wasicka and in the second match 2006 champion Forrest will be up against the original champion, Hellmuth. The two match winners will face each other in a final heads-up match where the winner gets $200,000. The heads-up tournament will be aired in five consecutive episodes.
