Saturday, Jan 30, 2010 Rush Poker - Insane Action at Full Tilt Poker

Rush Poker is a new form of online poker that might change the online poker scene for good. It's caused havoc at Full Tilt Poker from day one.

Over at Full Tilt Poker they've launched a new form of online poker that will truly revolutionize this "old" game. It's called Rush Poker*.

In Rush Poker, instead of playing at one table (or a few tables) against a fixed line-up of opponents, you join a large pool of players.

As soon as you're done in one hand, you go instantly into a new hand at a new table with a new mix of players from the pool. There are no silent moments.

This also means that each time you fold, a new hand begins in a second. So, contrary to common knowledge, now folding is the way to get action. You don't even have to wait for your turn - just touch the Fold button and off you go.

if you've ever been longing for action, here's a handful for you.

In Rush Poker there'll be no whining about bad beats or bad plays. As soon as the hand is over, the table is killed.

By the way, there may not be much chat at all. Basically, you hardly even have time to see who's seated at the table.

However, as long as you're in a hand, you're playing that hand only until it's finished. The play of an individual hand is not quicker or more stressed than usual.

That is, until you fold. Then you're being hurled straight into the next hand and play begins again right away.

It's fast paced, it's fun, it's a rush to be sure.
