PokerStars Sponsors High Heels Poker Tour

PokerStars.net is the new official sponsor for the High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT).

HighHeelsPokerTour was established in 2007 by Lauren Failla and is the first all women's poker tour launched on the East Coast. The HHPT was created to empower women who want to become champions in the growing world of poker.

The PokerStars sponsorship will include support for HHPT's growing roster of tournaments; the first of which began this month at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY.

After New York, the tour heads south to Florida for three events in Dania, Hollywood and Tampa.

The HHPT Grand Finale will be the $1000 buy-in ladies event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January 2010.
