UltimateBet is a trendsetter within online poker. The software has a high level of design and reliability, and a lot of new features are introduced, such as the ability to fold-and-show, or the bet-pot button. UltimateBet is among the top 3-4 sites when it comes to poker traffic - for ring games as well as tournaments. Game variation is impressive and there's also a lot of games at super high stakes if you're interested in playing or watching. Promotions and a loyalty programs are very generous. Several poker pro endorsers participate in the games. UltimateBet doesn't seem to have any important weaknesses.
The promotions are respectable, the refer-a-friend program more than so - you get up to $100 for each friend! Big weekly guaranteed tournaments, numerous WSOP qualifiers and more than a few freerolls add a lot of value for active players. Every year there are re-deposit bonuses at around 20% up to $100 or so, and every hour a couple of High Hand Jackpots are granted to the best hands shown.
Poker Traffic
When it comes to ring game traffic, UltimateBet places in the top 4 to 5 positions world wide. The number of real money players in ring games touches in the 3,700 at peak hours. Cash game traffic is not as Texas Holdem intense as on many other sites. In the tournament department, peak hour traffic is very good and sometimes exceeds 25,000 real money players. Software & Graphics
UltimateBet poker software has its own design, and it is very stable. Player notes are supported, there is a sophisticated statistics functionality with in depth information about your games, and you can keep track of friends and favorite players using the buddy function. If you play a lot of simultaneous tables, the mini-table view allows you to keep the overview. As a Mac or Linux user, you'll need a PC emulator to accommodate the UltimateBet software.
Game Variety
Game selection at UltimateBet is excellent. Texas Holdem, Omaha (high and high/low), and 7-Card-Stud (high and high/low) are standard. Then there are a couple of more exotic variations: Triple Draw and Pineapple. No-limit and pot-limit structures are available as usual. There are heads-up tables for Texas Holdem and also Omaha and 7-Card-Stud.
