Despite being a relatively new offering, players will find a lot to like on Superbook Poker. The result of collaboration between PlayersOnly and Sportsbook Poker, it’s obvious that Superbook was designed by people who understand poker. With plenty of upside there’s a good chance Superbook will eventually out-perform the sites it was based on. Read full review
What do you get when you combine popular sites Sportsbook and PlayersOnly Poker? The answer is Superbook Poker, a very compelling site that also resides on the Merge Poker Network.
Players from either site will feel right at home on Superbook Poker with the familiar Merge Poker lobby and table views.
Superbook switches it up by offering a very clean purple and red theme in the lobby as well as several outstanding sign-up offers.
The site offers a very complete software client, which offers a wide selection of games including No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, Seven-Card Stud and many of the high and low versions of each variant.
As the name implies Superbook Poker is a part of a site that also includes a popular sports book. Many of the sports book users migrate to the poker client so there are plenty of soft tables on the site.

Poker Traffic
Traffic on the Merge Network was always low until PlayersOnly and SportsBook Poker joined in the last few years. Since then the network has been expanding at an impressive rate and Superbook Poker is one of the reasons why. Since U.S. players are allowed on the site it tends to peak around 7-12 ET time every night. During those hours there are plenty of ring games and tournaments going off at both low and high stakes.
Software & Graphics
It’s hard to find much to complain about with the Merge Poker software these days.
Superbook is an excellent skin of the software with a purple and red lobby that looks surprisingly clean.
All the modern features are there with good multi-table compatibility, note-taking, stat tracking, avatars and more.
The in-game statistics are very comprehensive and the information that’s presented is on par with third party hand trackers.
The Superbook Poker software gets a big two thumbs up from us.
Game Variety
Superbook Poker players have a fantastic selection of games to play including Texas Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, Razz, Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo, 5-Card Draw, Badugi and a few mixed games.
Unfortunately most of the traffic tends to be in No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Hold’em so it can be difficult finding players in the more obscure games.
Still it’s an impressive assortment of games.

In many ways Superbook Poker offers the best of both rooms with a super clean interface and very compelling promotions.
Perhaps the biggest selling point of the site is the Play Aces VIP Program that offers some amazing bonuses for hardcore and casual players.
