Fedora + Final Table = Bracelet!

We knew that Jeff Lisandro was sick, but c’mon. Three bracelets and each in a different discipline of stud is just insane. Three bracelets in a year is an amazing feat but to achieve the “Triple Crown of Stud” in addition to the bracelets is just short of amazing.

Do you know how many players have achieved the triple crown of stud? Including Lisandro, there are four players total that have done this in the history of the WSOP. Of course, none of the other three did so in the same year. You can probably guess who one of the players is, but I bet you will not know the other two without research.

In fact, let’s see how smart you all are. Tell me who the other three players are that hold the stud triple crown. The stud triple crown is a player that has a bracelet in Seven Card Stud, Stud Hi-Lo Split, and Razz. Feel free to leave me a comment with your answers. I’ll give the answer myself in a future blog.

After taking bracelets in each of the different stud variants, Lisandro has to be one of the favorites in the 50k H.O.R.S.E. His prior history is irrelevant now. He is on a massive heater in stud games, and stud variants make up 60% of H.O.R.S.E. I still will put my money on Ivey if I had to pick one, but now, you almost have to put money on Jeff Lisandro.

Also, the $1,500 Stud 8 is upcoming. Is there a chance we might see him at the final table of that one as well? If Jeff can take another bracelet, he will set the record for bracelets in a year.

It’s going to be an exciting couple of weeks.
