It’s worth repeating: Playing online poker is not illegal.
There’s no law against playing online poker. The infamous UIGEA prevents financial institutions from transfering funds to online gambling sites. That’s all.
I mean, that’s bad enough, to be sure. It affects our beloved game of strategy in a very negative fashion.
And it’s uncalled for. Poker is not gambling.
But let’s keep things in the right places. Playing poker on the internet is not illegal.
