Monday, Aug 17, 2009 Ongame Troubles Continue
The launch of the new game server at Bwin/Ongame was troublesome and caused an uproar among aficionados. Despite several updates and improvement efforts, the troubles at Ongame seem to continue.
Some of the initial problems after the launch of the new P5 system have been addressed and fixed.
For example, the graphics are now neat and clean and a big improvement to the old client. Waiting lists, however, are still very much wanted.
Even though the representation of the chips is a bit ridculous. For example, how can 25 cents be four stacks of purple chips?!

But most of all, recently the games have experienced all sorts of problems with frozen sit and gos and cash games as a frustrating result.
Players complain that the money from those frozen tables have not been returned to their poker accounts quickly enough, sometimes not until the day after.
All in all, the cash account functionality seems unreliable, which is annoying. But no one has charged Bwin or any other Ongame site with actually stealing money.
They still enjoy very high general trust when it comes to financial honesty, like most other big poker sites or networks by the way.
At Poker Junkie we hope that Ongame Network will deal with the problems swiftly to keep this old and much appreciated player in the front seat of the poker bandwagon.
