Everest Poker Qualifier Second in EPT Warsaw

Nico Behling, 23 year old from Germany, finished second in EPT Polish Open, cashing €250,000. He qualified online on Everest Poker, where his poker career started in 2005.

By playing online you can gain much experience in a short time. With less than four years as a poker player, Nico Behling already has an impressive track record, including an in-the-money finish in the 2007 WSOP.

Behling has been playing poker at Everest Poker since 2005. He managed to qualify to EPT Barcelona in 2006, and now to the European Poker Tour event in the Polish capital of Warsaw.

When the final table started, Behling was second in chips after Dario Minieri. Behling managed to survive the Italian Poker Stars pro who's in tenth place of the EPT leaderboard with three third places.

"If someone had told me before the tournament that I would finish second, I would have signed up for that immediately", said Behling after the tournament. "Now, of course, I am a little disappointed. The trophy was so close.''

To his fellow Everest Poker players struggling to follow in his steps, Behling had the following advice:

"You have to work on your game. Study the theoretical part of poker in the beginning and always believe in yourself. Don't let short term luck or bad beats disturb you.''

Good advice for sure. Also, don't forget crack the opponent's aces with your pair of eights...
