Conclusion:

Although quite short in length, only 70 minutes long, the dvd does cover some excellent points. Sure the production of the DVD is cheap and kind of corny but it has enough content and tips to make it a worthwhile dvd purchase.

When I watched it for the first time, I was not surprised by the "cheapness", most instructional poker DVDs are like that. I pretty much knew everything he talked about but he did have some very interesting points.

I agree with The_razor07
he said basically the fundamentals but he also taught me to fold a bit. I usually play every hand, but I watch how he rated the hands i know when to fold

Im suprised of all the good comments, i mean it is phil helmuth, but it look extremely cheezy. you could tell he was reading off something, and he also looking really nervous.

He talked way to slow, and kept repeating himself. He went over fairly basic stuff, and bored me to death. Im definetly glad i didnt purchase this one!!!

It's worth watching, but Hellmuth often talks in Hellmuth-speak, so the video may be easier to understand if you've already read his book Play Poker Like the Pros. The two augment each other, like reading the CliffNotes after you've read the novel.
