Poker Nation Book Review
User Review: Poker Nation - Submitted by ScorpioSnake (Score: 2.5)
Pros:
- Easy read
- Fresh anecdotes
- Mostly about low-limit poker, so it relates better to most readers
Cons:
- Very general
- No poker strategies
- Not entertaining enough
Conclusion:
It is a insider's look on poker without enough depth to keep hardcore poker junkies interested throughout the whole book. The topics are too general and have been written to death in most poker books anyway - odds, WSOP, bluffs, tells, cheating, etc. Eveything is presented in semi-interesting stories, so it could serve to be one of those books that you put in a bathroom, only as a means of killing time and providing temporary entertainment.
Poker book collectors need this book to complete their poker library. Beginner poker players or enthusiasts might find the book appealing. Seasoned poker junkies looking for something entertaining or instructional might find the book fall short of their expectations.

No poker strategy than this book must really blow. Im sorry but i have to give it a 1/10. I need to improve my poker skills so without any strategies or anything i find this book to be really usless.
