ESPNs new show Tilt has started out with a bang as you could expect from any new series created by the legend of all gaming and sports ESPN, which also televises most major events from the World Series of Poker( which I have no experience in) tears?.
Three young players have all been busted out of their bankrolls by Don "The Mattadore" Everest, the greatest living poker player in the history of the game. None of them like to talk about their bust, but all of them have great futures as professional poker players (2 males and one female.) However, all of them suspect that they have been cheated, and they believe that he has some kind of an angle, they just don't know what. So an old-timer gets them together, and organizes a group which purpose is to bust the Mattadore and figure him and his ways out. By the way the old man also ran into the Mattadore and was also busted; the Mattadore has quite the reputation. A cop looking for a high stakes game comes into town, and is looking for a NL game. He is put on hold until they can get a game together. The floor man calls the owner of the casino which then calls the Mattadore to tell him that he wants him to play this guy. Soon enough a game has been started and everyone is familiar with it accept the cop. A few hands later the cop gets into a pot with the Mattadore, he flops a set of deuces and then moves in on the turn after the Mattadore hit is double belly buster straight, their goes 8 thousand out of the cop?s pocket. When the cop goes back to the room, the audience found out he wasn?t their to gamble he was studying all the moves of the players and knows how many outs that the cop had because of the hand signals and things like that. The cop then puts a video into the VCR and there is a man on the screen which tells people he cheated with the Mattadore and that they always used chip positions and hand signals to cheat them out. He goes straight to the cops and they go up stairs to the casino turns out the tapes have been thrown out. The cop grows furious, and knows he was cheated and something was going on. He beats up the video guy in the parking lot and forces him to tell him who told him to ?misplace? the tape. He reveals that it was the Mattadore, and Low Ball the owner of the casino. At the end of the episode the two men that are apart of the old timers group lose a satellite into the main event but both make the final table. Tune in next week?.

I thought it was great but then again i think anything related to poker is great. One thing they could have done was shown a little more poker. And yes the girl was soooooooo hot.

I dont know why everyone hates Tilt, I thought it was pretty good. It was hard to make something as good as Rounders, especially after their are expectations.

Definatly a good show. I like how the end makes you want to watch the next show/episode. I also liked playmakers which was also created by ESPN.

The only thing about poker worse than High Roller is Tilt. It's simply awful, and can't be good for poker because it makes it look terrible. Trainspotting made heroin look better than Tilt makes poker look. ESPN should stop making films and TV series; they're always bad.
