Jason Mercier Wins Third SCOOP Title of Series on Sunday
Jason Mercier is having an epic run in the 2015 Spring Championships of Online Poker over at PokerStars. On Sunday, Mercier won his third title of the series after taking down Event #20H, the $2,100 NL Hold'em 4-Max.
Mercier found himself at a stacked final table that included six-time SCOOP champ Calvin 'cal42688' Anderson and Ryan 'HITTHEPANDA' Franklin. Ultimately it was Mercier and Franklin that battled for the title.
The pair agreed to a chop and played out for the trophy. Mercier took down the title and $178,000. He is now one victory away from matching Shaun Deeb's record of four SCOOP titles in a single year. Deeb set that record in 2012.

Phil Ivey Gets His Own Chrysler Commercial
Some of you may remember that Phil Ivey appeared in a Chrysler television commercial last month as someone who had "created their own success."
Now Ivey is featured in a new commercial for the new 300 Sedan. The tag line is simply, "There's nothing wrong with being flashy, so long as you've done the work to back it up."
